It definitely is better than a kick in the head, or having it stolen... but not by much ;)
Take heart, they did not scratch it permanently into the frail aluminum skin, and even though my fingernail did not take any of it off (yes, I saw it in person shortly after the incident, and NO, I did not doodle nor take part in a conspiracy to doodle), there is bound to be some sort of cleaning product capable of removing the doodles. OR, keep them as a reminder of how much you love the fandom.
